This is a small and pretty antique pendant with an open cut-work design resembling a cathedral window, set with clear stones and a sprinkling of beading along the “struts”. From it’s dainty size, “geometric” design and “925″ mark I suspect it is a German Art Nouveau, (Jugendstil) piece, dating to about 1910.
Size: 3.5 cm high by 1.25 cm wide (1 3/8″ by 1/2″) not including the top ring.
Weight: 2.5 grams.
Marks: Stamped 925 on the reverse; no maker’s mark.
Condition: This pretty pendant is in excellent antique condition with no damage or missing stones. The middle stone on the bottom right has a greenish hue picked up by the camera but this is barely (if at all) noticeable in real life – the stones are bright and lively.
